What CGPA Puts You on Probation?
Short answer: Below 2.00 CGPA usually means probation in most Pakistani universities. Below 2.00 semester GPA with CGPA above 2.00 usually means warning. Two consecutive regular semesters on probation can lead to separation. Confirm your university rules, because bands and durations vary.
Formula
GPA equals total quality points divided by total credit hours. CGPA equals total quality points across all semesters divided by total credit hours. Quality points for a course equal grade points times credit hours.
